We are excited to announce the successful MOSIP Partner Conversations that took place on 22nd May in Nairobi, Kenya at the Weston Hotel. With nearly 200 attendees, the event served as a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advancing digital identity solutions. This event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from our extensive commercial ecosystem, including system integration partners, biometrics providers, and other technology partners.
We were also delighted to have the participation of esteemed country advocacy members, along with organisations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the World Bank, and the World Food Program, among others.
At the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn from each other's experiences, explore potential synergies, and contribute to the advancement of the digital identity landscape. The attendees received a comprehensive country update, providing insights into the latest developments and initiatives in digital identity. We also shared our journey, highlighting the milestones achieved and lessons learned along the way. The compliance toolkit, a valuable partner resource, was introduced to support their compliance journey.
We shared valuable insights on device certification, emphasising its significance in ensuring that devices meet the necessary standards for compatibility and security. The MOSIP marketplace, a platform for partners to showcase their products and services, was presented as an avenue for collaboration and growth. Attendees also had the opportunity to understand the MOSIP Experience Centre, which provides hands-on demonstrations. The event concluded with a roadmap presentation, outlining the future direction and upcoming milestones of MOSIP.
Prof Debabrata Das, Director IIITB and Executive Chairperson, MOSIP said,
“We are grateful for and proud of our partner ecosystem, whose support and collaboration have been instrumental in MOSIP’s achievements, some of whom have been associated with us right from the start. Hosting this event gave us the opportunity to meet and connect with individuals who are aligned with our vision, discuss key themes with them, and share our plans and hopes for the future. With this invaluable facetime, we are more confident than ever that this growing ecosystem is working tirelessly towards inclusive digital infrastructure for a better tomorrow.”
