Celebrating their 6th edition this year, The Open Group India Awards honour innovation and excellence in applying open standards, open-source software, and best practices across India, South Asia, the Middle East, and African regions.

In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in Agenda 2030, this category spotlighted the crucial role of standards in advancing sustainability across various sectors. MOSIP was awarded for promoting inclusivity in identity management, effective regulatory practices, strong stakeholder engagement, inclusive collaboration, and impactful standard-setting.

Future of Government Award – PhilSys ID | 15 February 2024
The Philippine Statistics Authority won a Future of Government award for “Open-Source Adaptation” in their national ID programme, built on MOSIP. This recognition of one of MOSIP’s most advanced national rollouts underscores our mission to empower governments to own core components of their digital public infrastructure.
Supported by the UNDP, Public Digital, and AWS Institute, the award honours those enhancing public services through digital solutions. MOSIP's use of open standards fosters innovation and interoperability efficiently, demonstrating the value of open-source solutions in government projects like a national ID.
